Boys on the Go! Camp is an awesome way for boys and gender diverse youth, ages 9-13, to explore the Bay Area on public transportation and meet new friends, all while having some really fun adventures. Some of our daily destinations include: Lake Merritt for boating, Baseball games with the A’s and Giants, Bowling, Ice- Skating, Mini-Golf, Arcades, Movies and much more! Monday’s are Creating Community Day where we engage and connect with each other, do team building activities and learn how to travel safely together. Sometimes we shop & cook together, play board & field games, make wooden planes, build Estes Rockets. Other times we chill in the park, laying in the grass, playing capture the flag, walk the slackline, play chess, or walk to the library.
Our program is designed to inspire boys’ innate curiosity about what’s going on for themselves and in the world around them. We are dedicated to empowering these soon to be young men to be curious, competent and compassionate people.
Our staff is dynamic, engaging, skilled, kind, empathetic and deeply passionate about their work with youth.
“My son has lots of friends, but this program is a place to go beneath the surface instead of just roughhousing, playing video games and joking around. I felt like he grew a lot, became independent and made real friends outside of his school.”
July 9-13, July 16-20, July 23-27 and July 30-August 3
