“Every day started with a gratitude circle and every day ended with appreciations for everyone in the group. In between there was…fun, fun, fun. This is such a cool camp, not really a camp. I don’t know what it is but it’s cool getting to hang with other boys like this.” -11 year old

We are dedicated to empowering these soon to be young men to be curious, competent and compassionate people. Boys on the Go Camp is a program of Monkey Business Camp.

• We want our high quality, award winning camp to be accessible to all families, as it makes our camp a better place. We have created various options for folks including flexible “no fee” payment plan options at the online payment page, and financial aid and work exchange available by application. Please apply and refer those in your networks who might not realize about these options.
• It takes a village, so if you have something extra to give to our scholarship fund, round up your tuition on the online registration portal, from $2-$20 and we will match all of them to double the impact. Even these small to larger gifts made it so 10 days of camp were available last year to kids who otherwise could not have afforded it. We screen applications for lower incomes to insure your money going to those who need it.
“I didn’t really want to go to a camp but this was all boys and we were like a team. It was soooo much fun and Devin and the staff were really chill.” -13 year old

Our staff from diverse backgrounds are nurturing, creative and enthusiastic. They are hired to guide and enrich our programs and foster friendship among campers. All children, returning and new campers alike, are actively welcomed. For the upcoming summer, we will post staff photos and bios HERE once finalized.
“Boys on the Go is the one thing my son is very clear he must do this summer. He had a great time playing at the park, walking and Barting around the area, and visiting the fun spots with a great group of guys. The counselors were that perfect mix of firm and sensitive, and the youth leaders/teenagers were present and up for any game the boys wanted to play. So great to know my son was with playful, creative, and grounded people!”
We will be recruiting 1-2 Junior Counselors, age 14-17, for two-week periods: July 9-20 and July 23-Aug 3. Junior Counselors support the staff in a variety of ways, including leading games, helping the campers get on and off transport safely, and helping welcome all kids. There will be required reading to prepare for the position and JCs will receive mentoring while on site. Some of our former JCs are now on our staff. Being a JC does not guarantee that transition, but helps make it more possible.
